FOR
IMMEDIATE RELEASE
May 1-7th,
National Organizing Week (NOWeek) is an annual event
created in 2002 by Professional Organizers in Canada (POC). Independent Professional Organizers from
coast to coast, all members of POC, have pulled together and have chosen to
volunteer their time to Ronald McDonald House on May 4th, 2005. Our over 300 members will donate their
valuable skills and knowledge to assist both national charities, the Ronald
McDonald Houses and local charities,
across Canada by providing
on-site organizing services.
Ronald McDonald House is a home-away-from-home for families
with children undergoing treatments at nearby Children's Hospitals. It's a
place where families can be themselves and kids can share their experiences
with others. Ronald McDonald House offers these children and their families a
warm compassionate and comfortable home environment, at a nominal overnight
fee. Parents find a place to rest and feel safe, while their children can lead
as normal a life as possible.
NOWeek
was created to give professional organizers across Canada a chance to give back
to the community by supporting other non-profit organizations, focusing on the
benefits of getting organized and staying organized, and raising our profile
across Canada by making the public aware that there is help! Hiring a
professional organizer can reduce stress, help gain control of your life, save
you money and enhance overall well being.
